I didn't get to meet her until she was a day old. I was working 3rd shift and couldn't get off of work. When I finally got to hold her, I instantly fell in love.  She was perfect. I knew she was going to be something special, she was wonderfully made to do amazing big things. (I'm crying just thinking back to that moment.)

 I had no idea she would change my life that December in 2005. Because of my niece Maddee, I had discovered my purpose.

 Taking photos of Maddee gave me the courage and confidence to turn my dreams of photography into a reality. I went on to attend photography school and have been a full time photographer since 2009. It really is true that God's plans are bigger than what you could ever imagine. We have no idea who or what he will use to fulfill his purpose. Thank you Jesus. 

Here we are, the summer before Maddee's senior year. I can't believe it. Even though I am not sitting in the same seat as her mama, I am filled with all kinds of emotions. I am anxious and excited for her. I am scared and proud for her. I want to hold her hand, tell her to stop growing up yet, I can't wait to see what her bright future holds.

This will be the last time it is all about Maddee, next time it will be a wedding. (Okay, I am really not ready to go there.) She's going to share her senior photo album with her kids one day, let that soak in.

When Maddee is gone on to her next chapter in life, we will have these photos in our homes. She will always be with us, hanging on our walls  and on our coffee tables in albums to always cherish. I am grateful we will have these pictures for a lifetime.

I am so thankful I have the opportunity to share this time with her, capturing her senior year. This is one of the most important times in her life. I have the honor of taking her senior pictures to represent her last year of High School.
